I beg that you trust me:
There is not only evident tearing at all points in the game.
Enemies teleport (it looks like lag, but it's bad rendering)
Framerate hitches so bad, it's hard to aim when there's shooting on screen.
Physics cause lock ups.
lmfao. I like you
*Adds Seraph to track list*
I would argue that Disgaea is not a game for everyone.
SRPG fans LOVE the infinite leveling up, the amazing animations and great gameplay, but casuals or people not interested would definitely not be able to continue given the odd premise of the story and such.
The game is definitely an A in my eyes, I loved the first 2 AND Afternoon of Darkness. Disgaea fans will pick this game up regardless what the score was going to be, this review is for casuals.
Good answer ATLRoach, that's absolutely the answer I was looking for.
Thanks alot, bubbles.
Well, I don't wanna piss on anyone's parade.
If they are genuinely excited, I want to be too, hopefully someone can pinpoint what's so incredibly special about it.
Again, I don't want to be the buzzkill, I just don't understand the wave of disappointment.
Honest question, why do people care so much about Life with Playstation.
It does absolutely nothing game related, and I get my weather and news from my HTC Phone....
Pretty sure that it's unanimously agreed that on N4G, if anyone has anything to know about Trophies, or if there's anyone worthy enough to write a guide, it's I.
Looks awesome
*Looks for IGN/Gamespot/1up watermarks*
This is disgusting.
They're selling us a bloody demo?
What a bunch of pigs at Square-Enix, just release the damn thing on PSN/XBLA. Maybe it'd make more sense to display your game to the largest audience possible and not milk your loyal fans for all their cash.
PSP games have been making me say WOW since Portable Ops, God of War and Crisis Core.
Seeing that gameplay of Resistance retribution was actually another wow.
DID YOU EVER KNOW THAT YOU'RE MY HEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I was actually pretty happy with that trailer...
Good stuff so far
decent review.
I only take issue with your complain of the ending. I thought the reintroduction of Big Boss was the climax of the entire series and brought the game to a settling resolution.
I think people try to take this game to seriously and observe things to literally because the game and the story are all works of fiction and not at all based in reality, but rather, substitute the history of the fictitious universe with a template that is our own.
E...
Go tell that to Johnathan Mak who coded everyday shooter by himself and did all the sound effects and music on his own on a PS3 dev kit.
Go shove it up your ass you cheapskates.
Edit: I'd prefer they say they don't "want" to develop for PS3, than say it's too hard or too expensive.
Why don't you blow me Hudson.
Go tell that to Johnathan Mak who coded everyday shooter by himself and did all the sound effects and music on his own on a PS3 dev kit.
Go shove it up your ass you sheapskates.
Thing is, when you start a PS2 game, the system actually reboots into the PS2 hardware....
Yep, the console shuts down for a split second and that's why you have to re-sync.
I got them all except:
* Token Hoarder - Collect 15 tokens with a single boost in Arcade
Which I shall get in the morning :)
Halo is bigger than Metal Gear in terms of mass appeal.
YEAHHHHHHH
IT LIVESSSSSS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOO
Uh Oh
