i think this is one of sony's big games they will announce soon.. Sony said they had a bunch of games they havent announced yet

Yes give me more jak, Hopefully its like jak 2 since the past 2 installments in the series have been alittle dissapointing.

remember this coming thursday were gonna be given a glimpse on how awesome naughty dog are in developing games. hopefully jax and daxter should be the same or it might even be a little better than uncharted drakes, but we will see. just knowing they are starting to work on it makes my mouth drool...

and the gamers out there want it too :) to me Ratchet>Jak, but both series on PS2 were just great.

After playing the awesomeness that is Ratchet and Clank FTOD, I can honestly say that I want Jak and Daxter on PS3 as well. If they use the things learn in Uncharted my goodness will that be sweet. Haven City would be both huge and have crazy draw distances now.

Make some used of that Engine from Uncharted and make that game AWESOME just as Uncharted lol'

They are toying with the idea but its not confirmed yet. Hard to tell which one i love the most RC or Jak. I love both of them.

YEAH!! After Metal Gear, Jak and Daxter is my favorite Playstation series. Naughty Dog, I demand Jak on PS3!!!!

I have always loved the Jak series so I would love to see Jak & Daxter on the PS3. By the time the game hits maybe they will be using 2/3 the power ! I'm not sure what that would look like but I am having a good time imagining it.

i hope they make a new jak and daxter its most probably not syarted yet because one the guys from naughty dogthat was on the ign podcast said that they arnt currently working on any other titles at the moment and after uncharted they are taking a vacation... one of the reason i think uncharted took soo long is because one of the dev videos he says they try things and if they dont work they take it out and try until they get something that plays well and suits well... but i deffinately cant wait for a new jak hopefully that jak and daxter lost frontier on ign is real and coming soon

Every time i play R&C i cant help but to imagine the game being a new J&D game.. its been to long already.

in my mind i suspect a new Jack & Daxter game is already heavily into development,there was a 30 minute special on Unchartered last week on the Bravo channel here in England, they interviewed some of the Naughty dog team and were shown around the development studios.
they talked about every aspect of Unchartered, it was a very good program, it looks simply amazing, a guy showed you what you had to do to get up into a tower and retrieve some keys.
the stuff you had to do looks incredibly complicated, also using the six-axis motion control to balance on some areas is simply incredible.

The program started with the cameraman walking in the door where he filmed a big Jack figure about four feet tall in the lobby, he them panned round doing interviews with the Naughty dog team.
In one section the cameraman seemed to go where he shouldn't have and got a glimpse of a pc monitor which looked like a Jack model onscreen, the programmer then told the cameraman he shouldn't be filming it so he left the room.

To my mind there is no doubt a Jack & Daxter game is heavily into development and hopefully a mid 08 released date would be great for us ps3 owners.
Jack & Daxter is a phenominal franchise the first two were stunning games, i didn't play the others as i didn't own a ps2 at that stage.
Naughty Dog are withouit doubt one of the most talanted development/programming teams in the world of gaming.

I simply cannot wait for anything they do, Unchartered is at the top of my most wanted list, Jack & Daxter on the ps3 is simply a mouth watering prospect

Oh my kids will be so pleased with this. In this weak they rediscovered the Jak & Daxter DVD and was playing it for days on end again. R&C, J&D - new releases in HD - they are going to be so happy with this.

For those criticizing the "kiddy" aspect of these games - I played them all - and to be honest, there are very few games out there that match these two franchises. They are great, very similar in many respects - but great in their own right each.

For those who have PS3's - these two games are must haves - and if you have kids - even more so. You get all the action of most FPS, without the blood and gore. Little bit more from above view - more like a 3rd person shooter, but playable from the word go up to the end.

Bring it on Naughty Dog - you know you want to.
