This reminds me of the PS2 Japanese horror games with modern day graphics. Hoping this turns out well and from what I’ve seen so far it looks like it will.

I don't think it would have started in Japan considering it gives off the impression in previous games that Silent Hill was founded on sacred land to Native Americans with special powers that ended up being corrupted over time, so this whole thing was around a lot longer than whatever happens in the 1960s.

Good point! The Native American lore definitely predates the 1960s. Silent Hill was built on land considered sacred long before settlers showed up. This theory just suggests Silent Hill f might be the origin of the curse itself, and what we see in the town later is how that curse evolved over time.

Kojima had it right when it was planned to be "Silent Hills" cause it could've easily been used to imply that multiple cultures around the world had a similar curse.

I read this really great theory the other day that the main character is actually older and living in Silent Hill, but the town is forcing her to relive the events from her past when she was a young girl in Japan.

I rather they not explain it all. Somethings should be left unknown it's more interesting that way.

Silent Hill f is rated 'Playable' on Steam Deck, but the system requirements don't look promising

Silent Hill f Steam Deck compatibility has been updated to Playable, but we're still worried about its performance based on the requirements.
