Microsoft just dropped a trailer for DOOM: The Dark Ages.
Doom: The Dark Ages makes a variety of changes to the franchise, with one of the most notable being its approach to Glory Kills.
From the reviews I watched so for , they said Doom the Dark Ages is slower than Eternal but Doom Dark Ages is still a lot faster then most of FPS games today.
Doom: The Dark Ages has hit a peak of just under 31,000 concurrent players at launch, a figure much lower than both Doom and Doom: Eternal.
Could be affected by:
- A percentage of people will play this on GamePass which the last 2 games did not launch on.
- A percentage of players bought the Deluxe Edition which included early access, reducing the peak as players will start playing it on different days.
Skewed and Reviewed have posted video from the first chapter of the new game that was captured via a PC.
It looks as if they haven't really upgraded the graphics to me? Was expecting a big upgrade, doesn't seem all that colourful either, ah well
Loved how they conveniently left out the PS5 part in the show…
Might be great, but I hope it won't have as many annoying platforming stage elements as Doom Eternal.
Well, thats the best thing to come out of the summer game fest so far.
