Excited for this. I hope it turns out good.

This game is going to be a huge event. I know it.

The title says it aims to do what no other RPG does but he only says that briefly and gives no examples and no follow up question was asked (in print anyway). I’m interested obviously but the title makes you believe that it will be explained or at least talked about a little but nada.

“Aims to do what jonother rpg has”

Micro transactions to get past start screen.

CorndogBurglar2209d ago (Edited 2209d ago )

Larian's games have given no one any reason to think this game will have any microtransactions at all, much less a crazy amount like you're suggesting.

Save that garbage for Studios like EA or Activision. No reason to make these kind of negative comments about a very good developer unless they give you a reason to.

Just a joke, calm down.

Larian and Baldur's Gate should be a magic combination. My friend actually messaged me, telling me they announced Baldur's Gate 3. I was instantly dreading seeing what developer may have been tied with it, what with Obsidian and inXile being MS 1st party now.

Was not expecting Larian, but thrilled that they were given the title.

Do you not see this happening during development? Like, why are we apologizing after the fact instead of stopping it during development?

anast1h ago

It's all good, as long as the price of the product decreases.

I was unhappy with DT and have spent far less time in it than any other expansion but it's things like this that makes me respect Yoshi P. It's rare for such a high profile developer to be so candid in his assessment on a live game.
