You can pretend there is no competition but of course in reality there is competition from both Sony and Nintendo and Microsoft is losing to both.

You can focus on resolution like Microsoft has and get outsold by the competition that focuses on games. The success of the Switch is the perfect example of what sells consoles, it's games not resolution.

Now that the dust settles, PR campaign slows down and the real impressions of the console begin to emerge. I mean who in their right mind thinks its a good idea to pay fir a console that wasnt worth buying when it cost $250? Does the fact that they rekeased a more recent version of it, really make it a better console even when it has utterly failed to deliver for 4 years?

Dolby vision is just a HDR mode its not that big a deal. But you are wrong its not doubling the resolution either 1800p upscaled isnt double its just higher, Assassins creed Origins runs in 1800p on XboneX and 1440p on Ps4 Pro. They both upscale and honestly the difference in picture quailty isnt that big of a deal at least enough to spend 100$ on, to me at least. There is no true 4k gaming console they both have draw backs and short comings.

I do give you credit though for calling out the nature of the quality of the X1's 4K media content capabilities though.

I find the TV's apps for netflix or amazon to be more efficient than the consoles, although there isn't a lot of high end audio being delivered that way to decide if it's better there. My TV can even play 4K through the USB or local network pretty well, but none of that has full Atmos support.

I'd say that Xbox is a decent entry level 4K media player that could get better over time through updates. However, unless someone has the most basic of 4K TV's, they can get the same features on their TV itself more often than not.

Yea we know they have Exclusives... Saying no exclusives is basically like sarcasm.... So when we say no exclusives it jus means its not many. Not as many to justify anything but Gears, Forza and Halo... And to say Exclusives dont sell much on PS is nonsense. Most dont sell. Like Knack. Sure you can have that one. But the ones that do shine sells plenty enough to sell enough PS4s to have a 2 to 1 ratio from the main competitor... Sheesh

The amount of damage control you have been doing the past week or so for ME and the One X has been astonishing to say the least, and also quite worrying considering how insecure it seems to make you feel, even though you say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

You are in the running for top place in damage controller of MS, right next to the othet cult members of your ilk that damage control and spin like it's their day job.

Don't you have tons of old games to play in 4K? You would think the majority of your day would be playing the console instead of defending it on forums...

You laugh at people saying the One X isn't a great gaming console, yet haven't offered any real rebuttals to said argument besides "it's doubles the resolution of PS4 Pro.".....

The truth is that all your ego has to latch onto at this point in time is the fact that the Xbox One X has a tiny bit better specs than the Pro.. Meanwhile your insecurities that are very obvious and apparent to us all is that you have nothing new or much of anything good to even play... Sure, you have the good feeling of going back to games that you've already played and/or beaten, but that wears off fast... and then the insecurity sinks in at the realization that your bleak 2018 lineup is staring right at you, and then you nervously laugh at anyone who points any of this out to you, while you fervently defend anything MS and XBox, trying to prove to yourself that you made a good decision and that Xbox is fantastic... (it's not)...
